SwipeStack is built on a simple principle: your writing is yours. This is a plain-English summary of the little we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including that we never sell your data or train AI on your words. It governs your use of SwipeStack alongside our Terms.
1 · What we store
We store the information needed to run your account: your email address, the RSS feed URLs you connect, the imported article content you bring in, the projects you create, the generated assets you export, and billing references held by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.
2 · How we use it
We use your data to operate SwipeStack — to import your feeds, build and store your projects, generate and deliver your carousels, process subscriptions, and provide support. We also use aggregated, non-identifying signals to keep the service reliable and to improve how it works.
3 · Your writing is not our training data
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your writing to train AI models — full stop. Your imported articles and the editions you create stay yours, used only to provide the features you asked for. The optional caption and alt-text AI works from your article's metadata, never by feeding your prose into a model we train.
4 · Connected social accounts
When you connect a social account to publish, we store only the identifiers needed to post on your behalf through our publishing provider — never your platform passwords. You can disconnect an account at any time from Settings, which revokes our ability to publish for you. We publish only the editions you schedule, and never read or post anything else.
5 · Third parties / subprocessors
We rely on a small set of trusted subprocessors to run SwipeStack — for hosting and storage, database infrastructure, payment processing through Stripe, and the social platforms you choose to publish to. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
6 · Your rights
You can export all of your account data as JSON and permanently delete your account from Settings at any time, and you can delete individual feeds, projects, and templates from within the app. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, you also have rights to access, correct, restrict, and object to certain processing of your personal data. We act on verified requests within the timelines required by law.
7 · Contact
If you have questions about this policy or want to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at privacy@swipestack.io. We'll respond as quickly as we can and work with you to resolve any concerns.
